Description:

Ooh, don’t I wish I could….

Question though: why does it say their second and ‘third’ album (Le 3eme album intitule ‘Harmony.’)

What did I miss? wink Don’t tell me there’s a previous album in France…

*had to laugh at myself. I thought I was handling the translation pretty well, then was entirely too excited to see the translation button. :-D

Thanks Pilgrim. Take care all.

You are right Sasta: there is not a third album but I suppose they include the DVD as a second album . ( thus making Harmony the 3rd one ) .  According to this six members of Cappella Caeciliana will accompany The Priests . Sounds very appealing ! I wonder whether they accompany them on the English and Irish tours as well ?

Thanks Pilgrim! I’ve passed your message on to a friend who is living in France. She too is truly, deeply and madly “addicted” to the Frs’ music (doesn’t that sound familiar??..lol..)!!

Let’s not forget, however, why Pilgrim initiated this thread.  But (just a gentle nudge) don’t forget everyone to pass on this wealth of information that Pilgrim has provided.  Patricia Anne, my sister is suspicious I might be a “stalker” also and committment papers are probably already being drawn up (!), and I also have a “bee in my bonnet” Alix.  Pilgrim went to quite a bit of work to provide this wealth of information for our use, so I hope everyone’s taking advantage of it!!

edifices” by Kimberly Blanton, Globe Staff | August 8, 2008

With 15 bathrooms, six parking spaces, and 24,000 square feet of living space, it might be found sprawling across some suburb. But this $23 million mansion is smack in the middle of Boston.

The largest single-family home in all of Boston is being assembled from two adjoining buildings at Exeter Street and Commonwealth Avenue in the Back Bay. Its owner, investment executive Ofer Nemirovsky, spent a decade purchasing the four condominiums in the Exeter building and the adjacent Commonwealth townhouse, and is now combining them in a two-year, gut renovation project.

He’s a—you guessed it—ISRAELI!!!!

The house’s luxuriant features include an atrium bordered by a glass walkway and railings, according to building plans filed with the city. Each of three children’s bedrooms has its own bathroom and dressing room. The master suite has “his” and “hers” studies, dressing rooms, and bathrooms.

There’s more: an elevator, a sitting room, living room, parlor, media room, family room, exercise room, upper lounge, an “eat-in study,” a 27-foot, oval-shaped library, and an office for the house manager.

Nemirovsky, a managing director of HarbourVest, an international private equity firm in Boston, declined repeated requests for an interview, saying he wanted to maintain his family’s privacy.

Even by the imposing standards of Back Bay, which has been home to Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, Senator Edward M. Kennedy’s former wife, Joan, and car dealer Herb Chambers, Nemirovsky’s house stands out for its grandeur and its size. Luxury condominium projects such as the Mandarin Oriental-Boston are mushrooming all over downtown, some with units as large as a suburban house. But Nemirovsky’s residence is Boston’s largest, according to The Warren Group, a real estate research firm.

Did I understand correctly from the link (thanks, Sagart!) that the Fathers will be accompanied by 6 members of Cappella Caeciliana, or is my French even rustier than I thought…???

Hi Kaja
You understood very well. It is said that the Priests will be accompanied by 6 members of Cappella Caeciliana. But part of the commentary about the Priests seems not right, for example it is said that “Harmony” is their 3 rd album. Have I missed one??

Hi Solange,

Earlier on in this thread Alix suggested that probably the DVD was seen as second album and therefore Harmony as third…
Btw, is there a possibility that you can go to the Vichy concert in October?

Hi Kaja

I’m looking forward to go to the Vichy concert. Perhaps I could go. I checked the train or the car (car would be the easiest way to go). Vichy is 350 km far from my home, it’s not so far but the date (22 October) means it may have snow on the road at that date and I hate driving under snow ( even if We have lots here in my region). So things is pending. The funny thing is I just need 3/4 of an hour to fly from Edinburgh to Belfast but I need at least five hours to go from Annecy to Vichy by train or road LOL
