Hi Harmonyfan,

For me it is not a big issue, I’m not Catholic and not related to any church at all! I am religious though, and very serious about it. Was brought up protestant: Nederlands Hervormd. I’m seeking so to speak…... So I feel a little strange in between of you all…...
You are all so lyrical and I try and like to keep things in proportion. And I like to tease a little bit…. just to see how people react on it. A little laugh to keep the things going….. It’s good for the hart and for your soul.

Ofcourse I will vote for The Priests!! - I can’t say” fathers “- because they are n’t for me…...
I like their music very much! And so does my 8 year old son! He sings Laudamus Te all te way!!
There is real emotion in the singing and in the presentation of the singing, and that is what strikes me…....again and again….....
I like Eugene’s singing and acting the most because he’s expressiv in so many ways; and he’s chatty…...

Maybe there are some Dutch mothers at school who will also vote when I ask them. We shall see. You never know how a few votes can turn out to be important…...

I had had the feeling to make a point and so I did.

Was at the Cadoganhall too with Margaret. It was great! But I could not hear the voices loud enough…. I was really sad about that…...
I have a Harman Kardon dockingstation at home, and when I turn up the volume the music will come on to you…...and emotions you!
So Margaret says, I have to go to a ” real ’” concert off the Priests; she understands what I mean….
So, I will be back….... Margaret & I like to go together to the concert in Ireland!!

London is a great city by the way!

Warm regards to all of you….

Rodee

Hi, Rodee, Euterpe and everyone,

Both my parents also were protestants for a very long time - in fact just until some years ago.
Guess what my Dad said to me at the family-table when the general conversation turned to voting for Harmony???

*Raised eyebrows*:
“Are you REALLY sure it’s a good idea to vote for parish priests over His Holiness???!!!”

LOL!
(But did he happily cast his vote for The Priests A.S.A.P.? Yup!)

Hi Harmonyfan,

You told about your parents that they were protestant. I understand that they now are Catholic?

A big change…... It sounds like you have a real loyal father, a wise man.

I forgot to say: welcome! So here it is! Hope you feel free to talk on the site!

Warm greetings…... Rodee

Hi
and thanks everyone for the welcome!!! This is a nice Forum: you all seem to know a lot on the topic and obviously are happily willing to share!
grin

Yes, Rodee, my parents are Catholic by now (took the rest of us almost 20 years of faithful praying plus keeping mouth shut most of the time!), and my Dad IS a wise man indeed – and yup, my parents LOVE the Priests – we have both CDs at home, plus the Armagh-DVD, and the Liverpool-DVD is already within reach…

Helja,
Thanks for your warm greetings from the land of snow . Vow ! -27 that’s cold . Here in England we complain and come to a standstill when the snow falls and temperatures fall below -5 !
Wise vote by the way !
We’re all speaking with one voice when it comes to Harmony : we all relish it and love the Fathers.
