Thanks for posting that.  I was able to tune in via the internet and I even sent a few questions via e-mail to the studio which were asked.  Nice interview - I wonder if it will be available for podcast at some point.

Yes, a nice interview, Carroll… and how wonderful to know that there will be a small tour to the “Big Apple” either in winter 2009 or in spring 2010!...

When I had spoken with Father Eugene after the show in Dublin back in March, he thought there might be a NYC concert date in the autumn.  Actually, I’m kind of glad it’s been pushed back to the winter or spring.  I’m anticipating a rigorous school schedule this autumn and I don’t want to have to make that choice between going to a concert or doing my homework!!!

I e-mailed the radio station and asked if they might have a podcast or a link to the interview.  If they get back to me about it, I will surely post it here.  Father Eugene talked about getting back to his routine after the tour, mentioned that it had also recently been Father David’s birthday (but didn’t mention the date), and that they might be doing a concert in New York City either in winter 2009 or spring 2010 (which is good news for me).  It was a pretty quick interview - done over the phone - maybe 10 to 15 minutes at most.

Hi, everybody!

If those of you who want the interview as an mp3-file would send me your resp. Email-addresses (or just post them here), I can email you the interview during the coming weekend as an attachment - since I did record it while it was live on-air…
grin

It is about 9 MB (please do check your mail-boxes first if they can handle that!)
and covers about 10 min (the “Ave Maria” in the beginning excluded; interview only).

Since it was an Internet-stream of a telephone-interview (with Fr. Eugene not in a studio or in front of a mic), the voice-quality is not that great, but still okay.

I cannot upload the file directly to this website for all of you
since attachments are permitted, but must not be bigger than 75 KB obviously.

Greetings to all of you!

Hi, Everybody,

My pleasure to forward Fr. Eugene’s interview: I just uploaded the mp3-file to those of you who posted their Email-addresses in the Forum - and all others who sent me a “Private Message” with their resp. addresses will receive the file separately!
Enjoy!

The very best to all of you, and have a nice day!

Galafan…

Thank you very much for sending Father Eugene’s interview to my email. A joy to listen to and to know that the new album is on its way. Something to look forward to, just hope the Fathers will also have time to enjoy the Summer.

Karen Elise.
